Storm Recovery Hub event pages are compiled automatically from official National Weather Service, National Hurricane Center, USGS and FEMA data and checked against the original advisories before they go up.
Byline
Who the Storm Recovery Hub desk is
Weather event pages carry the byline “By the Storm Recovery Hub desk.” The desk is the team that runs this site for A2B Group Inc., the company that operates Storm Recovery Hub. It is not a named reporter, and we don't invent writers, titles or credentials. Who runs the site is explained on our About page and Who's behind this.

How event pages are made
- Pages are compiled automatically from official data: National Weather Service warnings and forecasts, National Hurricane Center advisories, USGS and NOAA river and tide gauges, and FEMA disaster declarations.
- Every summary is checked against the original NWS, NHC, USGS or FEMA product before it is published or updated, and the page links to that source.
- We don't publish rumors, unverified social media reports or our own forecasts. Live panels show the current official word and say so when a feed is down.
Dates
Published and updated times
- “Published” is when a page first went up. It never changes.
- “Updated” changes only when the content changes, such as a new warning, an extension, a river crest or a cancellation. We never change dates just to look fresh.
- Each dated change is listed on Latest.
Images
Images
- No AI-generated images and no stock photos on event pages.
- Event images are charts and maps we draw from public government data, such as NOAA river and tide gauges or National Weather Service zone maps, with the data source credited under each image.
Independence
No paid placement
No one pays to appear in our weather coverage or our lists of official resources. The site is supported by an optional cleanup-help request form, explained on our Consent & Contact Disclosure and Partners pages, and that never changes what a weather page says.
