Sources and methods
Links on Storm Recovery Hub are checked by hand against the official agency site, and live panels pull directly from NHC, NWS, FEMA and USGS feeds, refreshed about every ten minutes. When a feed is down, the site says so and links to the source instead of guessing. Report a broken link or error to [email protected].
- NHC: CurrentStorms.json and the Atlantic RSS feed
- NWS: api.weather.gov active alerts for FL, AL and MS, filtered to eight coastal counties
- FEMA: OpenFEMA Disaster Declarations Summaries, last 120 days
- USGS: Instantaneous Values service, gage height
